UCAT ANZ

The University Clinical Aptitude Test is used in the selection process by the UCAT ANZ Consortium of universities in Australia and New Zealand

UCAT ANZ Registration & Booking

If you are applying to UCAT ANZ Consortium universities in Australia and New Zealand you should ensure that you register for and book the ANZ (Australia and New Zealand) version of UCAT test – known as the UCAT ANZ or UCATSEN ANZ.  UCAT ANZ testing takes place between 1 July and 31 July 2019.  You must complete a two-step process using the Pearson VUE online registration system to register and then book a test.

It is also worth noting that school holidays in Australia and university breaks in New Zealand occur in the first half of July.  We recommend that you use these times to sit the test to give greater flexibility and to reduce stress.

Step 1: Online Account Registration

Registration opens: 1 March at 9am

Registration closes: 16 May at 5pm AEST

You must create an online account with Pearson VUE before you can book your test.  You need to register for your test personally – this cannot be done by a school/college.  You should only create one account as multiple accounts are not permitted.

You must register with your legal name exactly as it appears on the photo identification you will present at the test centre.  If there is not an exact match, you will not be able to take your test and you will not be reimbursed for any fees paid.

Step 2: Booking a Test

Booking opens: 1 March at 9am

Booking closes: 17 May at 5pm AEST

When the registration process is complete you will be sent an email containing a password which will allow you to log-in to your Pearson VUE account to book your test.  The test fee is payable at the time of booking by major credit card (Visa, Mastercard or Visa debit card).  Booking closes at 5pm AEST on Friday 17th May 2019.  There are no exceptions to this deadline.

You should book a standard test (UCAT ANZ) unless you are eligible for extra time.  Please see the section on Access Arrangements for more information.  It is your responsibility to book the correct test.
